Why learn Ayurveda?

Ayurveda gives us the framework and tools to live life and optimize health for ourselves and others. It connects the dots on all aspects of life to create alignment with our internal and external environments.

At AYU Academy, we teach Ayurveda through a modernized, well-structured curriculum to make complex knowledge and concepts accessible to every student.

What to expect

Students come to Ayurveda for many reasons - some want to understand how to solve their own health challenges, and others want to use Ayurveda in clinical practice. Whatever your goals are, learning Ayurveda correctly is key.

The course material at AYU Academy was developed for professional training, and is structured for students who appreciate high-quality, rigorous education. This material is now being made available to all students who want to learn Ayurveda for personal use or professional practice.

The course is designed to be completed in order.

Prerequisites
- Essential Sanskrit One, Two and Three
- Introduction to Professional Ayurveda (AYU-100)
- Human Anatomy & Physiology I & II
  - required for Professional Certification)
Main Course
- Svastha Āchārya (Ayurvedic Health Coach) Program

Certificate of Completion

Students who wish to receive a final Certificate of Completion for professional practice must complete all components above, submit all course work, and pass all written and oral exams within 36 months of initial enrollment.

Students who do not require a Certificate of Completion have unlimited access to purchased course materials for personal study.

How it works

Studying at AYU Academy is now easier and more accessible than ever. Follow the instructions below to register as a student, then get started with the course of your choice.

Step 1

Register as a student at AYU Academy.

Step 2

Sign up for the course you’d like to start using the links below.

You can start with one or as many as you like. Students generally begin with Essential Sanskrit One and AYU-100. Scroll down for all course sign up links.

Once you register and pay for each course, expect to receive one or more emails with access links, generally within 24 hours or less.

A GMAIL or Google-compatible email address is required to access all course material on Google Drive.

Step 3

Complete the course material. This varies by course and is explained in the lecture videos. When everything is completed, email info@ayu.academy to schedule your final exam for the course.

Step 4

Meet for your final exam and complete all requirements to pass.

Step 5

Receive your Certificate of Completion.
